About

Yoga is a way of life for me, encompassing physiological, psychological and spiritual aspects. Working with my body produces a feeling of well-being on many levels: physical, mental and emotional. By integrating breathing with the physical movements of yoga, I develop an greater awareness of myself. I believe yoga is a system for personal development, accessible to all.

I am a Iyengar Yoga Teacher and have recently completed my Junior 1 certification I am now training for my Junior 2 certification. I have studied with some of the most senior teachers such as Corine Biria, Faeq Biria, Jawahar, Karin O Bannon, Ushi Devi, among others.

I have practiced yoga since 1998 and have taught since 2007. I teach Iyengar yoga because I believe the precise alignment and attention to detail that characterizes Iyengar yoga is fundamental to learning and safely executing the poses. Iyengar teaching methodology is a solid foundation upon which to build better physical, mental and emotional health and to pursue higher spiritual goals.

Yoga has provided for me a long term solution to Scoliosis which I have had since adolescence.
